Giving:
SAVER relies solely on the generosity of individuals and organizations
committed to improving the assessment and treatment of vascular disease. Please
join SAVER in communicating the standard of assessment and treatment – your gift
will contribute meaningfully to improving the knowledge of vascular disease
throughout the community. Make your tax-deductible gift now by choosing one of
the following ways to give:
Matching Gifts:
Many employers encourage employee giving through a matching gift program.
Through this program, your employer may match part or all of your contribution
to the Society for the Advancement of Education and Research. If you donate
$100, for example, your company may contribute an additional $50 (50% match),
$100 (100% match) or even $200 (200% match). If you are interested, inquire
about a matching gift program at your place of work. Obtain the proper paper
work and send it in with your gift to the Society. We’ll take care of the rest.
Memorial & Tribute Gifts:
A gift in memory of a loved one or in honor of a friend, family member,
physician or other caregiver is a thoughtful way to express your thanks and
support. We will send the honoree a card to let him or her know of your gift in
their honor. The amount of your gift will remain confidential. If you would like
to memorialize someone with a gift to SAVER, we will notify their spouse,
children, or other loved one of your special gift. Please provide the name and
address of the person to be notified.
Stocks and Other Investment Gifts:
There has been remarkable growth in the value of stocks and other
investments in recent years. As a result, you may now own investments that have
dramatically increased in value. While no one knows for sure what the future
might hold, each possibility suggests opportunities for you to make a charitable
gift to the Society. We can make it easy for you to make gifts of stock.
Planned Gifts:
Provide for the future of SAVER through a bequest or life-income gift.
You have the opportunity to contribute through various deferred gift
opportunities including:
- Wills - You can make a bequest to SAVER by
including the Society in your will. To name the Society in your will, the
appropriate legal name to be used is: Society for the Advancement of
Education and Research.
- Charitable Gift Annuities - A charitable gift
annuity is an opportunity for you as the donor to make a gift to the Society
and receive fixed payments for the rest of your life and/or the lifetime of
another person if so desired. It’s not complicated and this type of gift can
benefit you and the Society.
