Grants:

SAVER is committed to partnering with hospitals and clinics to help educate society about the facts related to vascular disease. Our mission is to be fair in our decisions to award funding through our grant process. There are established funding priorities along with the types of grants awarded.  Please see the funding guidelines.

Funding Priorities:

SAVER is designed to provide development assistance and make grants within four priority areas:

  • Technical Education – College or University-based programs offering a dedicated Vascular Technology major, usually Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) accredited.
  • Professional Development – Training and education of nurses and physicians involved with the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease.
  • Clinical Research – Focused research in the areas of noninvasive diagnostic testing, application of new technologies, and emerging treatments for vascular disorders.
  • Patient Education & Awareness – Community based education and screening of patients with known vascular disease or known risk factors for developing the disease.

In some cases, SAVER will participate in health-related projects that fall outside of these four areas.  Other health-related efforts may be deemed eligible, as they may play an important role in the Society’s efforts to improve the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease.
